As part of the Universities on going refurbishment programme, Weatherite Building Services has completed a major upgrade of the heating system at Aston University, Birmingham.
Solution
Weatherite supplied and installed new door heater panels and water heaters for the new main entrance hall as well as modifying heating and ventilating systems serving four of the university’s lecture rooms.
The project, which was worth over £53,000, also called for the installation of new gas mains to five floors serving the laboratories and included a live break-in to the university’s gas main.
As the latest in a number of projects carried out for Aston University, Weatherite successfully completed the work on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to the campus.
