Weatherite Announce New Top Team at Building Services
Weatherite has announced two key appointments at their highly successful
group company, Weatherite Building Services Limited
(WBS).
(WBS).Mike Turton is appointed Managing Director and Martin Thomas is promoted to Sales Director, in a move which strengthens the senior management team, following the retirement of former MD, Clive Evans.
Mark Powell, Weatherite’s highly experienced Contracts Director has welcomed the appointments and is looking forward to adding his input to the new board structure.
Mike Turton joined WBS in 1992 as part of the management team to help
diversify the business. In 2001 he was promoted to sales director and has been
one of the key architects in the company’s successful growth and development in
the building services/M&E sector. A highly experienced building services
professional, Mike previously headed up the Cleanroom and Building Services
divisions of HOW Engineering (now Interserve), and was technical director at
Maple Mechanical Services, prior to joining Weatherite.
Supporting Mike on the board is HVAC Specialist Martin Thomas who joined
Weatherite in 2004 as Business Development Manager. Martin’s career has included a number of senior
management roles within the industry.

Both Mike and Martin have played a key role in developing the business by diversifying and opening up new opportunities, which has resulted in WBS growing significantly over the past five years. Both busy family men, but when the demands of business and home life permit, they enjoy pursuing a range of sporting activities including badminton, tennis and golf.
