Record breaking business growth, the expansion of its head office, the opening of a new Scottish office, plus the appointment of ten new members of staff, not to mention a further five apprentices taken into the company’s training programme! Financial Year 200/8 has turned out to be the most successful year ever for Weatherite Building Services Limited (WBS).

Commenting on the result Mike Turton, WBS Sales Director said, “2007/8 has been a tremendous year for Weatherite Building Services, surpassing even our previous record in 2006/7. I attribute this success to our   philosophy of putting our customers’ needs at the top of our priority list. I know virtually everyone talks about doing this, but at WBS, we actually deliver on this promise; and our business results suggest we have achieved this. “

The continued growth of the company is further testament to WBS’s commitment to their customers. Not only have they recently doubled the size of their Southern office in Hertfordshire, along with their head office in Aldridge but they have also launched a new office in East Kilbride meaning that WBS can now offer a complete building services solution across the UK.

With this expansion comes the appointment of several key members of staff such as Martin Burnett heading up the Scottish office, two new sales and application engineers in the form of Steve Knee and Martin Gibbard and Commercial Surveyor Andrew Ball, adding further to the wealth of expertise offered by WBS.

WBS prides itself on being able to offer its customers the complete solution and with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations coming into force last year, WBS has also appointed Kevin Walker as Health & Safety Officer, to ensure that any given project not only complies but surpasses the CDM Regulations.

Coinciding with these announcements, WBS has published a new edition of its newsletter, “Airwaves”, which gives more detail on Weatherite Building Services’ success, profiles numerous new personnel and overviews some of the highlights of the company’s activities during the year.
