Weatherite Gets to Work at Job Centres Across Kent
Weatherite Building Services (WBS), the specialist building services arm of the Weatherite Group, has successfully completed the installation of air conditioning systems at four job centres plus offices across the South of England.WBS secured the contracts – worth in excess of £140,000 – for the supply and installation of Sanyo air conditioning systems in the job centre plus offices in Margate, Folkestone, Dartford and Maidstone.
At Margate, WBS installed one of the latest designed Sanyo gas powered VRF systems known as the ECO-G.
Cameron Taylor specified it the Sanyo GHP system installed by WBS as it provided an environmentally sensitive and energy efficient solution. With nitrogen oxide emissions 66% lower than current EU standards, plus high performance air exchanger and refrigerant heat exchanger, the ECO-G gas powered VRF system provides fast and powerful cooling/heating, plus efficient waste heat recovery. The ECO-G system is also included on the Energy Technology list, whereby 100% of the cost of purchase and installation can be offset against tax in the year of purchase.
At Folkestone, Dartford and Margate, WBS installed a range of twin split air conditioning systems, to suit the requirements of specific offices.

The requirement at each office varied in some way, but our objective was to equip each office with a cost effective and highly efficient air conditioning system appropriate to their needs.
We were especially pleased with the solution provided for the Margate office and believe this gas heat pump system will combine economy with excellent indoor climate control. We have no doubt both employees and job seekers will be pleased with the results.”
WBS also installed bespoke AHU units within Margate and Dover supplied by its sister company Weatherite Manufacturing.
