Weatherite provide single source solution for kitchen ventilation
Weatherite Building Services (WBS), has recently completed a contract worth £25,000 to install a new kitchen ventilation system 
in the Tuke Building Bar & Grill at Regents Park College, London. Regents College is currently under-going a phased upgrade of all its facilities and being a listed building requires an innovative and tasteful solution.

“It was essential on this project to ensure that effective odour and grease control was specified into the solution due to the restrictions placed upon us by the listed building which meant that the kitchen extract system was required to exhaust at basement level” explains Weatherite Building Services Sales Manager Clive Brearley.
“In order to control the potential problem of cooking odours in lecture rooms above the facility, an Extechnology 12 lamp UV-C unit was included with the canopy. As this unit produces Ozone in order to control odour and grease a further Extechnology unit which neutralises any excess ozone was included at the end of the ductwork run.
In order to control energy usage, De Kobra’s Energy Saver® system was factory fitted to the canopy.
