Weatherite upgrades kitchens in 18 Hertfordshire schools
Weatherite Building Services has installed new kitchen extractcanopies at 18 schools across Hertfordshire as part of 
Hertfordshire County Council’s major education refurbishment programme.

Weatherite was awarded contracts totalling £300,000 by Jarvis Contracting Limited because of their wealth of experience, excellent product knowledge and competitive prices.
The project, which was carried out between October 2006 and April 2007 included providing each school with a new island kitchen canopy, extract ductwork, fan, electrics, gas and water supply.
The schools, including Fleetville School in St Albans, and Knutsford School in Watford, have been very impressed with the results.

Most installations were carried out during term time to a very tight timescale to ensure minimal disruption to both teachers and pupils.

Despite having to deal with the added problem of asbestos at some of the sites, this still did not prevent us from meeting the client’s deadline.”
